I think it was said at an AGM meeting that prices will stay the same.

Yes and there's the problem. ST prices look like they're going to remain the same which means that the matchday prices must also remain the same.

I just can't see how anybody is going to be prepared to pay between £28 - £45 per match.

I've thought about it for a few days and decided that I am not prepared to pay more than £10 (concession) average per game, whether that be via a season ticket or at the turnstile.

I currently pay £518. Working out to about £22.50 per game. Why should i pay that much for Championship football, when a lot of games this season have been £15. Will next season be that much different? If I do I've got to find the money upfront.

Unless that comes down to around £350 I won't be renewing.

23 games x £15 = £345.

Pay as you go will probably be the best way.

What benefit has it been to be a season ticket holder this season? Oh sit in the same seat.

I will renew as I find it easier not having to find the money each week, however, I do feel we need an incentive to make other people renew. The shirt idea mentioned was a good idea, but, I don't wear colours. For me, FA Cup & League cup games until say the 4th round would be a very, very big incentive for me.

I am still paying off last seasons ST, let alone this seasons, so I am really not sure if I can afford to buy one for the championship, not a glory supporter, my first game was when we were in the old 3rd Division so I know whats its like to want and hurt!!

But just bought a house and really think that there should be some concession, especially for people who have forked out for ST at massivly inf;ated proces since being in the prem,

will be interresting to see what WBA, Sunderlandd, Palarse, NOrwich etc charge next season

This season I paid £361 for 19 games.........if they stay the same, I will see 23 games........average price per game £15-£16.......but will be watching Southend instead of Chelsea. Is it worth it? I am still thinking about it.

No Proccy I paid that this season. So yeah your right, £27 per game.

I meant, If the prices stay the same, it'll work out as £22.50ish per game in the Fizzy Pop League. Not value for money IMO.

Sorry, should have explained myself properly. ;)

Pay as i go and various seats for me this year i'm afraid !

If the club is heading in the right direction with the right leadership half way through the season, then i may consider a half year ticket !

Don't bother with a season ticket because it'll be cheap enough to pay on the day and you'll be able to sit in lots of different places, much better I'd say. And then if we're having a mare of a season again and are 16th then you can choose to sod it for a week!

I'll be renewing next season and every season after that. Its not even a option to me not to renew.

I understand people have financial constraints and families to look after and obviously, football isn't the highest priority in most peoples lives.

What annoys me is the people who won't be renewing because of the opposition we'll be playing. I go to watch Birmingham play and not the other team. Yes it was nice playing against man utd, chelsea, arsenal etc and we did become a little spoilt but i go to support my home team and nothing else.

Those of you who think tickets should be £15 per game need to open you eyes a little as the average Championship game last season cost £22 to pay on the day (adult ticket, source: 442 magazine)

Football is an expensive game now and as most of you would like to see some of our 'big' players stay, you have to realise some will still be on 'big' money.

We've been here before and we'll be back in the prem some day to but i'm actually looking forward to next season now and maybe getting some of the old atmosphere back.

This is the problem the board will have if they dont do something about prices. A lot of people will think its cheaper match by match then only go to 15 or 16 instead of 23.

I can see a few offers coming. The price stays the same but

Big discount for renewing early.
Concessions prices reduced.
Buy an additional season ticket with 50% off
Buy your season ticket and you have an option to buy a second match ticket for 15 quid
etc, etc

if they do nothing I suspect we will drop off to about 10,000 season ticket holders

The point is, take away what division we were in last season, or in this season. What benefit was it to be a season ticket holder, with so many games ending up at reduced prices?

Will they do that again this season? I can see it for a few, certainly.

Will they keep prices the same this season? If the rumour is correct yes, I won't be paying £27.50 for Championship football.

Now £15 might be a little unrealistic, but season ticket holders need to have benefits. - Not 10% discount at club shop for Tat. Not cheap mobile deals on T-mobile, when the signal is crap and i already have a mobile contract. Not discount of Flooring. All these special deals encourage me to spend more money out before I benefit as a season ticket holder.

The only thing that matters to me is match day benefits. - Reduced Price tickets.

Are Blues going to charge £25 per ticket on day? If so, they better prepare themselves for some empty seats.
